Your coaching business is finally booming… but you find yourself in constant burnout. That’s a clear sign to finally delegate some of your tasks so you can focus on the most important ones.
A great way to do that is to look for virtual support to delegate tasks that can be done remotely. But with all the different options out there…
…who should you hire?

If you are unsure what type of virtual support to get for your business, this might enlighten you.
Virtual Assistant
General virtual assistants are what they sound like.
An assistant that you can assign whatever tasks you need to be done for your business, that can be accomplished virtually. Knowing what specific tasks you want to delegate and having a system already in the set is crucial to finding the right virtual assistant that has at least the basic skillset required.
There are specialist virtual assistants that have a specific set of skills or knowledge or cater to a specific niche. Specialties range from admin tasks, customer service, lead generation, creative, social media assistant, etc.
Some specialize in specific niches like coaching, finance, health and wellness, and e-commerce – to name a few. Their built-in knowledge of the specific niche will require less training and smoother work transition. They will have valuable inputs on industry systems too.
Usually paid by the hour either full-time or part-time with agreed minimum or maximum hours of work monthly.
Social Media Manager
A freelancer or agency who manages multiple social media accounts for different clients. They could be a full-time role for your business too.
The job of social media managers includes but is not limited to daily account maintenance tasks, content postings, community engagement, and inbox management. Most social media managers take the role of content creator too for minor video editing, graphics, and captions.
In general, they are not responsible for strategy, sales, or content creation. Instead, they help implement your social media strategy.
Usually paid on monthly retainer packages, except for the full-time roles which are by the hour.
Social Media Strategist
A person who creates strategies that will help you achieve your specific goal in social media. Strategy can include messaging, content plan, lead generation, systems, etc.
In general, social media strategists do not implement the strategies and are paid per session or plan. Some social media agencies like ours do the strategy and implementation.

Content creators vary in what type of content they create. This could be a freelancer or an agency. Here are examples:
- Graphic Designer – infographics, carousel posts, social media covers, ebooks, etc.
- Video Editor – long-form videos for YouTube or short-form videos like reels, TikTok, and shorts.
- Writer/Copywriter – caption writing, email sequence, landing pages or website copy, blog articles, ebooks, etc.
They are usually paid per project or per service package. Some content creators or agencies like ours can create a combination of the above for your brand.

Lead Generation Specialist
A freelancer or agency that will help you generate leads. This can vary from automated to manual organic lead generation and usually involves (but not always) cold messaging or emailing.
Lead generation specialists usually already have their own systems or strategies to generate leads.
They could be but not necessarily responsible for closing sales. They are usually paid hourly and or per sales closed.
Social Media Agency
An agency that provides combined services you will need for the brand’s social media. The services and price range vary from each agency. Depending on what the service package covers or what results are promised.
My agency, for example, can cover social media management, strategy, content creation, and lead generation. But these services can also be availed separately or are tailored fit to what the brand needs.
Which of those do you most likely need for your business right now?
