As a coach, you can harness the power of social media to amplify your message and of course, sell your services.
Before you hop on and do that though, ask yourself these critical questions. This will help you set better expectations and effectively allocate resources.
Ask yourself these before selling on social media:
“Are my target audience on this social media platform?”
You must already know the specific people you are targeting. This will help you determine which social media platforms your ideal clients spend their time most and their behavior around it.
“If new people visit my account, will they immediately know what I am about?”
You only have a few seconds of people’s attention to introduce yourself. People lose interest if they get confused. Be stupid simple with your messaging.
“Are my audiences warm enough?”
You don’t need a ton of followers to sell. What you need is an aligned, engaged audience with a high level of awareness of what solutions you provide.
“Is there actually a current and high demand for my service? Or do I need to create it?”
This will help you set better expectations with your sales and pricing. For the latter, you will need to create more content and outreach for and to your ideal clients.
